Cooking Method

  1. Use a pan or dish with adequate depth.

  2. After adding 75 percent water, place it on the stove to bring the water to a boil.

  3. A small amount of salt, if necessary (depending on your custom and habit)

  4. Add the rice to the heating water once the water in the pan has started to boil.

  5. Cook on the stove for a further 10 to 15 minutes.

  6. Using a spoon, remove a few grains from the boiling pan, pinch them between your palms, and check to see if they have softened and are easy to mash.

  7. If the rice in the pan has boiled, lower the stove's flame to a low setting.

  8. If you find that there is still some water in the pan, tilt it with a sieve or pan to drain the remaining water.
